Journalism Portfolio

Dear Reader,

This page is a collection of articles I have written for publications and/or for myself. The articles below should provide you with an insight into my interests and abilities within journalism. I have provided pictures of my articles as well as links that you can click through or download so that you can read them clearly if the pictures are too small or distorted in any way. If you wish to do this, please click the words highlighted in pink in the descriptions/titles of the pieces; this will lead you to the pages that the original pieces are hosted on or it will initiate a download so that you can view the pieces as word documents or pdf files etc.

I am interested mainly in feature writing but I have provided pieces that showcase this as well as news and radio-style journalism. I have collated material that will cover the many bases that I am interested in. I am a very versatile professional who can easily adapt into any journalism role and I hope that this portfolio will support that. I believe that this collection of material will help employers get to know me and my abilities very well.

I have included; several feature articles including a small magazine I made, a news article, one news based radio-style package and a personal ‘gonzo journalism’ style piece. I would include more in-depth descriptions of my portfolio material within this introductory letter but that won’t be necessary as each piece has a description above as well as the aforementioned click through links.

I hope you enjoy my portfolio.

Thank you,

Lynn Baird
